I Love your lesson plan, but I am wondering if slide seven is missing something. I don’t see where you got the metallic look.
Also, for the construction part, do you think my students could use paper clips to put the individual letters together and then hot glue a piece of rope on top for hanging, instead of metal wire?

This was a great lesson to open students eyes up to ways to create texture. They enjoyed creating the samples. I will do this again with my students

My high school students loved this task! I allowed one lesson for each of the textures to be completed (70 minutes each). They chose a 7 letter word or repeated a shape 7 times to experience the different techniques
