Illustration Workshops for Schools Illustration is a niche, vibrant career, yet it can often feel out of reach and tricky to tap into. I visit schools and community groups to share my route into the world of illustration through talks, presentations and demonstrations of my painting and drawing methods. My workshops offer a rare look at the professional industry—how I built my career and how a commission moves from a client brief to a finished piece. Through a mix of observational sketching, continuous line work, and traditional ink and watercolour techniques, I help students unlearn the "perfectionism" and embrace mistakes. Each workshop is a blend of purposeful play through drawing exercises, using dip pens and indian ink, moving on to watercolour and acrylic inks. Topics can be fully tailored to fit your current project or curriculum, recent themes have included Sweets Packaging, Food & Drink and Wild in Nature. Prices vary depending on your organisation’s location, and are in the region of £270-£450.
