Emma Ghafur is Director of Tiger Monkey UK Ltd a dynamic arts organisation with over 30 years experience. Funded by Arts Council England regularly for projects since 2006. Emma is a mixed media artist whose commissions include murals, public art and developing whole school and community programmes. From shipping containers to large-scale collages and Posca Pens to spray cans and animation. From Discover Arts Award in a day themed programmes including murals and film-making to Bronze Arts Award Art Week's and Explore After-school projects....Recent work includes Paul Hamlyn Foundation funded Artist/Teacher exchange with Pixmore Junior School and Letchworth Heritage Foundation, Head of Art at Orchardside School including AQA GCSE Art,Craft & Design, Creative Consultant for West Lea Special School...Emma has specialised in working with pupils in a trauma informed school and with alternative education including SEND schools. Tiger Monkey's work is Brave, Funny, Creative and works towards modest but significant change. Workshops include ice-breaking games, outdoor arts and group games towards positive communication, developing emotional literacy and team-building. Emma' s background in Art Therapies also embeds wellbeing, mindfulness and accessibility through the arts for all ages and key stages. Tiger Monkey UK Limited is an Arts Award Centre offering all 5 levels of Nationally Accredited Arts Awards. Emma can help fund-raise for workshops and projects as well as make bespoke work for your class/school including CPD for whole staff teams or 1:1. Emma has worked with all key stages from infants to 6th Form and FE's.
